AFRYCULTURE VIEW POINT

AfryCulture Org is an Organisation of modern African People who have come together for the purpose of promoting good African cultures and in so doing, ensuring Happy and Healthy living of the people.  Also, to ensure the protection of every Africans’ Rights as a Human by working towards the abolishment of all bad cultures still practiced among us, to bring a Free, Happier and healthier Africa.

GOOD CULTURES: 

Most of the good cultures practiced in Africa are dying mainly because of some bad cultural beliefs, laws and practices attached to them. Modern religion does not stop you from having fun and colourful ceremonies that give  joy and happiness to the people. Rather, they want you to add good ceremonies, events and practices that will add to the Liveliness and healthiness of the society.

AfryCulture Org believe that any good culture in Africa should not be discontinued. Rather, they should be modified or modernized, removing the bad aspects of cultural beliefs and practices attached to them. Using Juju (Charms) to play masquerade, prohibiting peoples movement and subsequent killing of people at night,  and some daytime, masquerade festivals is what need to be removed; Relating New yam festival to some spirit gods or deities, some ritual practices done before the ceremony, etc. are what discourage the modern religious members from participating; Etc.

You probably know that friends will advise you, whenever you travel to the village, not to eat any form of kola offered to you by any person, even family members. This should not be so. We should remove bad practices, bad beliefs and bad laws from our cultures so that we can properly benefit the many good things culture has to offer.

BAD CULTURES: 

Africans are not doing enough to stop bad cultures which have hindered us from complete civilization and true developments. The reason for this being that people hold strong to their ego and refuse to accept the call for change by governments, United nations Organisation and the International Human Rights Organisation to abolish bad practices because of selfish interests, pride and hatred.  We should wake up to the call for CHANGE, take example from the Western Communities, and adequately support the good campaign of the International Human Rights Organisation to stop any form of Abuse of people’s human rights.

AfryCulture Org believe that Human Rights of people living in Africa will not be adequately protected if all bad cultural Laws, beliefs and practices  in Africa are not totally stopped.
